We work with you to design a nutrition plan to move you towards your goals. As part of this process we take into account your motivation style, physical activity and previous history with nutrition to formulate a plan that is going to work for you.
One of our primary values is sustainable change. We don’t just provide you with a nutrition plan and leave you to it. We work along side you on your nutrition but also on your habits, mindset and by providing ongoing accountability. Once you reach your goal, it’s important that you are able to maintain your changes, improve on them and continue to thrive – we believe in working with you to set you up to be able to Thrive on your own.
Our plans are based around you, your habits and personality type. We most commonly use a macro nutrient breakdown as we believe this is the most accurate and proven way to reach your goals while still allowing for flexibility and enjoyment in your approach to your nutrition. However, we know that this doesn’t work for everyone and that’s why we don’t employ a one size fits all method. At Thrive we focus on what’s going to work for you and build a program around who you are as an individual.
Knowing what is in the food you are eating and the ability to be flexible with your nutrition results in sustainable long term improvements. We will teach you what this means, how to track, weigh and measure and how to adjust over time.
Our aim is to educate and instil sustainable nutritional practices for anybody wanting to create huge and effective changes to their health and wellbeing, so that you are able to leave the program with the knowledge you need to be able to continue on for life.
Centred on a foundation of whole, unprocessed and natural foods our programs are tailored to any individual of any background.
We will start with strategic goal setting, weekly check-ins and ongoing support so that you are made accountable for all of your choices as well as being kept motivated and on track.
Once you are have been with the program for 6 months you have the option of moving to the graduate program which includes monthly check ins, on-going education and continued email support for accountability

No – what you eat is up to you. We’re here to teach you what’s going to set you up for the best chance of success, support you and give you advice on what’s likely to work best for you. We understand that life is busy and it’s not always easy to stick to a specific plan.
Macros is an abbreviated term for the macronutrients that make up the caloric content of food. Macros are broken into protein, fat and carbohydrates.
The combination of macronutrients is where your total number of calories come from. These are calculated as:
1 gram of carbohydrates = 4 calories
1 gram of fat = 9 calories
1 gram of protein = 4 calories
We work with you to talk through your body composition goals, current physical activity levels and goals to work out the best macronutrient breakdown specifically for you. We check in weekly on your progress and adjust your numbers on going to ensure that you’re set up for success.
Of course you can, but we know that you will get to your goals faster if you stick with us. We focus on education and habit change so that you can make an informed decision about your nutrition and you are empowered to know what is best for you.
Anyone can work out macros and track them, a nutrition coach is about education, advice, support and accountability.
We definitely can! While tracking your macros is the best way to precisely dial in your nutrition we know that this doesn’t work for everyone and that’s why we don’t employ a one size fits all method. Our plans are based around you, your habits, personality type and, most of all, what will work best for you and your lifestyle.
Definitely! You body goes through a number of physical and hormonal changes during pregnancy. It’s important to fuel your body with everything it needs to be strong and healthy. What you put into your body is what your body uses for the building blocks of your baby.
